These Terms govern your use of Moondust. By using Moondust, you agree to these Terms.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Moondust. By using the app, you confirm that you are 18 or older and legally able to agree to these Terms.
What Moondust Is
Moondust is a social discovery network. We help people discover relevant connections and conversations. We do not guarantee any particular connection, friendship, compatibility, safety, or outcome.
Your Account
You are responsible for your account and for keeping your sign-in method secure. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your profile reasonably up to date.
You may not impersonate another person, create fake accounts, misrepresent yourself, or use Moondust for spam, scraping, harassment, scams, or illegal activity.
User Content
You are responsible for the content you provide, including photos, profile information, interview answers, messages, and other material.
You grant Moondust a license to host, store, display, process, adapt, and use your content as needed to operate, improve, and provide the app. This includes showing your profile to other users, enabling recommendations and messaging, and generating app features such as explanations or openers.
You must not upload content that is illegal, hateful, threatening, sexually exploitative, harassing, misleading, infringing, or otherwise harmful.
Conduct
You agree not to harass, threaten, abuse, stalk, exploit, discriminate against, or harm other users. You agree not to use Moondust to collect information about others without permission, send spam, manipulate the service, reverse engineer the app, or interfere with security or operations.
We may remove content, restrict features, suspend accounts, or terminate accounts if we believe these Terms or our safety standards have been violated.
Recommendations, Location, and AI Features
Moondust may use your profile, preferences, location, activity, and AI-generated understanding to recommend relevant connections and explain possible overlap. Recommendations and generated content may be imperfect, incomplete, or wrong.
Location-based features are approximate and should not be relied on for safety, emergency, or precise navigation purposes.
Messaging and Safety
You are responsible for interactions with other users, both online and offline. Use judgment before meeting anyone in person. Moondust is not responsible for user conduct.
We may review content or account activity when needed for moderation, safety, support, legal compliance, or enforcement.
Premium Features and Subscriptions
Moondust may offer paid features, subscriptions, or lifetime purchases. Purchases are processed through Apple, Google, or other authorized providers.
Subscription pricing, renewal, cancellation, and refunds are governed by the app store or payment provider used for purchase. You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your app store account settings.
Premium features may change over time. We may add, remove, or modify features, quotas, or limits.
App Changes and Availability
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of Moondust at any time. We may also impose limits on features, storage, messaging, recommendations, search, or other usage.
Termination
You may stop using Moondust at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, create risk for users or Moondust, or use the service in a way that harms the app or community.
Disclaimers
Moondust is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free operation, perfect recommendations, or that every user is who they claim to be.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Moondust will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost opportunities, or user conduct.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to conflict of law rules.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide notice as appropriate. Continued use of Moondust after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
